A Dutch Roastery
We are a Dutch/Indonesian family living in Montana together with our doggo Whiskey. We've gone back and forth between countries over the last few decades working with a mission organization Youth with a Mission. Now we settled in Montana since 2018 and continue to pursue our dreams and passions. One of these passions is to create and enjoy quality coffee shared with good friends we make along the way.
Our Approach
Having a passion for coffee and the culture it comes along with it, we are looking to create quality roasts where coffee flavor matters. Coffee has a rich history in the Netherlands dating back all the way to 1616. In the last couple of decades the approach to coffee is growing and changing with a focus on single origins and lighter roasts. It is a focus we want to continue here. By providing an honest look at how coffee can be enjoyed. Letting the natural flavors speak for themselves without the typical array of syrups todays culture is introducing.
Green Sourcing
We buy from an import company who's buying model is designed to be farmer-forward and progressive. With a focus on both buying better coffee and buying coffee better. This means they don’t simply buy just any coffee from producers, but rather take a more holistic view of what it means to be a true partner to farmers worldwide. Every coffee farm produces coffee of different qualities and characteristics, and with our producers we believe helping those farmers find the right homes for all of those coffees is the best possible scaffold for success.
