A Tradition of Innovation
This coffee comes to us from Beneficio San Diego, the most historic and modern mill in Costa Rica. Established in 1888, they have spent over a century perfecting the balance between traditional farming and modern quality standards. By working with a community of small family farms in the famous Tarrazu region, the mill ensures that only the ripest, hand-picked cherries make the cut. The result is a consistent, high-quality coffee that supports sustainable farming communities while delivering a truly premium experience.

The Best of Both Worlds
This lot is prepared using the famous "Honey" process—a method Costa Rica pioneered to bridge the gap between a clean, classic coffee and a fruity, natural one. By leaving just a hint of the coffee fruit on the bean while it dries, the natural sugars soak in to create a deep, honey-like sweetness. It gives the coffee a rich, heavy body and a complex flavor profile that is more interesting than your average cup, yet perfectly balanced for your daily morning routine.
