Farmlevel Story

Sulawesi - Jaya Abadi

Originally established by the Dutch before 1928, the Rantekarua Estate in South Sulawesi was abandoned for decades until it was revived in the 1980s by PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi. Today, the 3,000-acre estate is a model of sustainable coffee production, with over 500 acres reforested, organic practices supported by 2,000 sheep, and a nursery program that shares top-performing coffee varieties with local farmers.

This naturally processed coffee is carefully floated, washed, and dried on covered raised beds for up to 20 days at Sulotco’s own mill. Full control from farm to export ensures exceptional consistency and clarity. Expect vibrant, fruit-forward flavors that showcase the rich Toraja highlands and a legacy of innovation rooted in both history and progress.
