Behind the Cup
This cup bursts with tropical brightness—mango, guava, and pineapple—layered over classic Kenya notes like tangerine, lemon, and caramel. Crisp and clean, yet soft and refined, with hints of white grape and oolong for added depth.
Did You Know?
The Rungeto Cooperative is famous for its "double wash" method. After the initial fermentation, the beans are washed in long channels and then soaked again in fresh water for up to 24 hours. This extra step is why Kenyan coffees have that signature "sparkling" acidity and crystalline clarity that coffee pros obsess over.

Farmlevel Story
Kirinyaga Kii
The Peaks of Kirinyaga
Grown along the lush, high-altitude slopes of Mt. Kenya, this coffee comes from Kirinyaga, one of the country's most celebrated growing regions. The mineral-rich volcanic soil, cool climate, and year-round moisture near the forest's edge create ideal conditions for producing some of the world’s most vibrant and complex coffees.
A Heritage of Purity
This lot comes from Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, which manages the Karimikui, Kii, and Kiangoi washing stations. Known for its meticulous processing, Rungeto follows Kenya’s tradition of careful sorting and extended washing using fresh river water. The result is a clean, high-clarity cup that reflects the precision and pride of Kenya’s legendary coffee craft.
