Farmlevel Story

Siane Chimbu

A Rare Organic Gem
This coffee is grown by the Siane Organic Agriculture Cooperative (SOAC) in the rugged Chimbu Province of Papua New Guinea. Unlike massive industrial plantations, this coffee is a "community blend" of hundreds of small family farmers who have worked together to achieve organic certification. The cooperative doesn't just help them reach the global stage; it provides essential financing and local projects that promote education and gender equality. When you drink this coffee, you’re tasting a "milling miracle", a perfect alignment of volcanic soil and expert sorting that captured the very best potential of the landscape.

Complexity Meets Comfort
If you typically stick to coffees from Central or South America, this PNG will be a delightful surprise. Because it is a "Washed" coffee, it has an incredible clarity that allows its unique tropical personality to shine through. While some fruity coffees can feel thin or "tea-like," the unique volcanic soil of PNG gives this brew a heavy, satisfying body and a syrupy texture. It’s a versatile powerhouse that works just as well as a comforting morning mug as it does a complex, vibrant espresso.
