Behind the Cup

Distinct from the rest of Brazil, coffee here is processed using washed or semi-washed methods due to the region's misty, humid climate and high altitudes. Innovative drying techniques, like greenhouses, maintain quality control and enhance the coffee's unique flavor profile—lush, sweet, and aromatic, a hallmark of Espirito Santo's specialty coffee.

Farmlevel Story

Brazil Espirito Santo

This Espirito Santo Immigrantes coffee originates from historic small farms, founded by Italian immigrants in the late 1800s on former sugarcane plantations. This land, divided into seven-hectare plots, shifted focus to coffee production, surpassing sugarcane in importance. Patience defines Espirito Santo's coffee cultivation. In its steep, mountainous terrain, cherries ripen slowly, handpicked at peak ripeness by every family member, ensuring only the finest beans are selected.
