Farmlevel Story
In 2006, Asefa Dukamo and his brother Mulugeta established Daye Bensa Coffee in the heart of the Sidama region. Operating 16 washing stations and 4 dry mills, they meticulously process their coffee with utmost efficiency. At the Qunqa mill, diligent labor and precise techniques are employed. The cherries, sun-dried whole for a maximum of 15 days, yield a profile that is remarkably sweet and intricate.
Durato Bombe coffee, named after its village of origin, is sourced from 626 dedicated farmers residing in both the Durato Bombe village and the Bensa Woreda Sidama zone. Notably, this exceptional coffee shares its name not only with its village but also with the majestic mountain upon which it flourishes.
